Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper on a Box!

I love this Designer Series Paper, because it is special, as it suggests. It is delicate lace, whisper white on one side and very vanilla on the other. There are 8 sheets: 4 each of 2 designs 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm).

With the 12 x 12 pieces of delicate lace, I decided to cut them and use them. I just couldn’t let them go to waste they are so pretty.

You can see why I choose to cut up the 12 x 12, it looks awesome on the 3 x 3 boxes, which you can fit a bit in, chocolate comes to mind! lol as always!

The project:

Base of Box: black cardstock sized, 7″ & 3/16th’s x 7″ & 3/16th’s scored at 2″ on all 4 sides.

Lid: Pacific Point (or colour preference), sized 6″ & 1/4 x 6″ & 1/4 scored at 1″ 1/2 on all 4 sides.

Cut a piece of the Delightfully Detailed DSP  7″ x 7″ to cover the top of the lid, as per the video instructions.

The tutorial includes the instructions to create these cute boxes, including how to add the delicate lace to the box. It really is easy and you will be just as excited as I was with the results.

thanks for stopping and looking.

Share What You Love and Charity

Share what you love is now online, and available to you as an early release item. There are advantages of taking up this opportunity. There are freebies in each bundle and the exclusive “Statement of the Heart” limited edition Charity stamp.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES®

Through the Making a Difference programme, Stampin’ Up! partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Each year, we design an exclusive stamp set to promote our partnership with RMHC and give a portion of the proceeds from each sale of that set. To date, more than $1.5 million usd has been donated from RMHC stamp set sales.

Stampin’ Up! encourages demonstrators to donate cards to their local Ronald McDonald Houses so those who are staying at the Houses can use the cards to keep in touch with loved ones while they are away from home. We also encourage demonstrators to volunteer through the RMHC programme.

So when you purchase the “Got to have it all” Bundle you will receive this limited edition stamp for free. I think this has to make you feel warm and fuzzy all over. I love to help people who need it and along with anyone in need children are my priority, they can never be loved enough. xx

I love black, especially combined with other colors or designs. Today’s card combines the use of Window Sheets/Acetate and Black Cardstock.

I have used a combination of punches to punch out and create the flowers it also includes using the big shot to cut a 3-inch circle, from the window sheet/Acetate.

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today for this tutorial. I love this Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’Up! one side shines, with silver foil imprinted patterns and the other side, has an array of differing colours and patterns to choose from. For me however, it is the shiny side that I want to play with.

I think I managed to use this piece nicely, by pretending it is rain, falling towards the soft red rose birthday bloom. Plus it was raining today here in Sydney and summer is coming to an end, which makes us all a bit sad I am sure.

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial.

This weeks "Weekly Deals" to choose from! Enjoy!

Hello and Welcome to another week’s “Weekly Deals” from Stampin’ Up!

How quick is this year going already?? Barely had time to scratch, and we are looking at Easter.

It is all a bit to fast isn’t it?

I have worked on some new designs, and will be uploading some new tutorials on YouTube, toward the end of this week.

This weeks “Weekly Deals” have some interesting bargains. I am happy to suggest the Envelope Punch Board. I use mine often. I never need to buy an envelope, and more intriguing you can make matching envelopes to go with your hand-made card and or DSP project, or just a pretty envelope when required.

I would also like to point out that the Petite Petals (wood-mount stamp set), listed in this weeks deals has a coordinating punch, called, “Petite Petals Punch Item number 133322″ they pair really well together and really are a must! Enjoy the rest of your week.

Please don’t forget that Sale-A Bration 2016 is still running, and that with every $90, spent (excluding postage), you get to select a free item, from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. You can see the items from the drop down menu above. There are some very nice quality items to choose from. Not sure how many I have now? Oops!

Happy Crafting
